How it works

The reservoir holds water and feed, and the wicking FeederMats in each pot draw it up to the roots as the plants need it.

  1. Set up the reservoir Stand it level where it will stay and fit the black top-up bung. Don't add any water yet.
  2. Fit the FeederMats Wet each wicking mat and push it through the hole in the bottom of a pot, so its point sits just below the rim and the other end reaches the bottom of the reservoir.
  3. Plant Fill the pots with compost, plant your chillies and firm the compost gently round them.
  4. Water from the top Water with a rose until the compost is moist but not soaked. Still no water in the reservoir.
  5. Fill the reservoir Once the top of the compost feels dry (a few days to a week), fill the reservoir with water and Nutrigold feed.
  6. Top up Top up the reservoir whenever it runs low. In hot weather, dampen the compost from the top as well.
